Requirements for Bachelor of Education (Special Needs Education)

(i) Mean Grade C+ (plus) at KCSE or equivalent with at least C+ (Plus) or equivalent in the following subjects: Biology, English/Kiswahili, Mathematics, Any Arts subject (History, Geography, English, Kiswahili, Business Studies, Religious Studies, French, Mathematics)

OR

(ii) KCSE Mean Grade C (Pain) or DIV III with a minimum aggregate of thirty-three (33) points at KCE or equivalent or one (1) principle and one (1) subsidiary at KACE and be a holder of a P1/S1/Diploma in Primary Education or Special Education with a Minimum of Credit from any institution recognized by the Commission for University Education with not less than Two (2) years teaching experience

OR

(iii) KCSE mean grade of C-(minus) or equivalent plus a P1 certificate and a minimum of credit in Diploma in Primary Education, plus five (5) years relevant teaching experience.
